Cloud connector device

Set up instructions

Our simple yet effective technology means it's easy to install and takes no time at all.

Step 1:
Disconnect your existing intercom handset

If applicable, unplug your existing intercom handset from the telephone jack. Be sure to remember which telephone jack was being used.

If you are using a Wi-Fi bridge to allow the cloud connector to be used away from your existing network device, follow the setup instructions included with the bridge before continuing.

Step 2:
Connect Power, Phone, and Internet

1. Connect the power adapter from a wall outlet to the ‘DC 12V’ port.

2. Then connect the cable with the wider end between the Internet (‘Globe’) port and a Local Area Network (LAN) port on your home’s modem, router or network switch. LAN ports are typically indicated in one or more of these ways:
– With the ‘connected boxes’ icon (as displayed on the device next to the power plug), or
– Labeled ‘LAN’ or ‘Ethernet’, or
– Coloured or highlighted in yellow.

3. Lastly, connect the narrow-ended cable between the Phone port (labeled ‘FXO’) and the telephone jack used for your intercom. If you unplugged an intercom handset in step 1, connect to this jack.

Step 3:
Confirm Device Connectivity

After a few moments, the Power and Internet lights should be illuminated solid blue. If the power LED does not illuminate, double-check that the device’s power cable is securely inserted and that the wall outlet has power.

If the internet LED does not illuminate, confirm that the included ethernet cable is connected between the ‘globe’ port and a local area network (LAN) port on your router.

If you’re using a Wifi bridge, ensure it is powered up and properly connected to your network.

Step 4:
Test the Intercom

Now for the exciting part – have someone dial your intercom as normal.

Within a moment or two the phone (FXO) LED should flash, and the resident phone numbers configured in your Come On Up account should ring. If you're having trouble, you’ll need to contact our team for help.
